6 tools for starting your business in 2016

  June 29, 2016    Growth Hacking,Marketing,news    Ruth

When you are starting up, trying to work out what tools you need to help you grow your business can be daunting task. Well here are just 6 of the tools I think you should use to help you start your business.

  1.  A business plan there is no point going forward with no plan to see your growth. knowing what you are doing is a must in starting up a business this is the number 1 tool.
  2. Hootsuite you get 3 social media set ups for free I would start off with Facebook, LinkedIn and twitter. With this you can pre schedule your advertisements for a day, week, month, year in advance great for when you know key events are coming up and also frees your day to more important tasks. Download the app too. More options are available when you pay.
  3. Google analytics this is great for seeing data on your website traffic. See who has been to your website you can get lots of data from here and target the right customers at the right time. It can be a hard to use at first but with guidance or the great YouTube explainer videos you can work it out. Also download the app.
  4. A task manager I am not going to tell you which one to use here as there are so many and different businesses will need different tasks running just make sure that it is available on you’re mobile also so alerts can pop up when your out and about making money.
  5. Skype is great for business, making very low cost calls or even free ones. Great for business meeting as documents can be shared also during the call. Its free Skype to Skype. Also down load the app.
  6. Tweetdeck Organise and build custom timelines, keep track of lists, searches, activity and more—all in one interface. Share an account with your team, without sharing your password. Maintain full control over permissions at all times. No apps use on the desktop.

If your good at organising there is tools for staff, accounting/bookkeeping, a place to hold your documents that you can access on the go like dropbox, try to get your website done in WordPress.
