Twitter Voice Note Button

Twitter is the go-to platform for real-time news and trending topics.  We are used to writing 280 characters with photos, videos, gifs and adding links where needed and not forgetting the emoji adding a little personal touch to the conversation. The thing is sometimes when we tweet it does not get the right message across we can try with CAPS but just was not quite enough.

Each twitter voice note goes up to 140 seconds, but if you go over it will keep recording and make multiple voice recording and link them into a thread. Easy right. You can talk pause, un-pause and carry on with the voice note, once done you press the Done button and it will end your recording. You can also write a text (get them hashtags in) then you press tweet.

Then it will go out like a regular tweet to all the people that follow you, and they can like, retweet, reply as usual. It also lets you know how many people have listened to your voice tweet. It can still play while you are doing other things on your mobile.

There is a downside as you know there is a vast number of twitter troll’s and this will open the flood gates for them. Harassment, trolling, swearing. It could hurt a little more as its human vice you hear not just text that you are reading. Also, the dreaded SPAMMERS.  Let’s see how Twitter will monetize and control this.

At the moment, the twitter voice notes are only available to a selected amount of people. But in the next couple of weeks, it will be available to everyone.

It is definitely a human touch to tweets; we think this is great for people that do micro blogging, micro podcasts, storytellers, writers, social media marketing, content marketing, influencers, journalists, news reporting, gossip pages. Let’s get sharing; we cannot wait to hear what you want to say.
